Holders of Staff and Bone-On-Line course
This time for women is not linear, but rather a time of mastery, where woman can work through lessons at their own pace. This course is for women who are already leaders in their community, healers and those who carry their own medicine and wish to do something for themselves to deepen into their own existing practise or expand and find deeper vision around what more their soul is asking them to offer out and into their communities. This process serves as an inner quest of sorts, and is deeply initiatory.
Participants must have strong journey skills, and apply. Only small numbers of students will be taken each year.
This is a quest into our own Blood, Bone, Moon and Return.
We begin on our the soul journey with:
Blood:
Our Ancestors come from our blood and are within each one of us as women. In this segment we work directly with our ancestors clearing our family lines and working with a specific ancestral guide that will step forward to support us in this journey. If we have not healed our ancestral line it is very hard for us to to be in service, and so this is where we begin the journey, in the blood.
We will spend time getting to know an ancestral heaping spirit in our maternal line, and seek to find any familial patterns that may be affecting our ancestral lines for healing.
Within this time we will also work with 2 plant medicines and one stone helper to support us in this intense piece of healing and discovery.
Bone:
Trees and stones are bones of the earth, so when we work with them from an animist perspective each of these things carries an energy and resonance that requires permission asking and understanding around. Women coming to this work already hold this understanding and so the work deepens. The bone we speak of here is the wood we gather to create our staff's from, which is a part of this process, but only one part....
Staff holders are essentially space holders and mentors, who serve with the purpose of supporting others and drawing out their unique gifts. These woman can celebrate others accomplishments without feeling competitive or envious about it.
Staff holders also work to come into understanding of the unique gifts they hold, and they have a deep certainty of what they are good at, and perhaps not so good at. This allows them to be compassionate in their work with others as elders/leaders, in a time when we are so spiritually hungry for healthy space holders.
We dive into the murky depth of some pretty big shadows toiling the soil over for any weeds that may have sprung up while we were busy working! Good leaders know that it is important to take time to weed their own garden of shadows from time to time, and so we give space for exactly this here.
Staff holders also understand how to create and maintain a powerful and impeccable container for others, and have created their own unique soul work and offerings that they share within their community.
In this segment we will explore what it means to each of us in our own unique way what it means to be a staff carrier and how to hold ourselves in integrity to this. We also dive into seeking both inner and outer counsel and how that can look for each of us. Lastly we dive into what it means to be a spiritual mentor, and to be impeccable in our word and integrity.
In this lesson we will work with tree medicine and women will be given full access to the Magic and Folklore of the Sacred Trees as a part of this one to support them in their work with the trees and what will eventually become their staff.
Moon:
The moon here represents community. We each are here on this earth to work through what we came here to do, and how to take that out into our communities to being in service to our soul with love.
Being in service to our communities often places quite rigorous demands on both our time and energy, and we may find that over the years what we give has soon become more then we receive. It is here that we will take the opportunity to explore ways that we might begin to fill our own spiritual needs in a more sustainable way. Giving away too much of ourselves and or our work never serves, us nor those who we give it to, here will will explore why this is and how a subtle change can make a big difference to our work and those we work with.
In this segment we will also work with how our different communities reflect back to us the things we most need to learn.
We work in the shadow of the moon as we learn how to maintain and hold circle within our communities as healthy containers for all those present, and facing challenges such as projection, triggering, and how to hold ourselves in integrity when others hold us up on a pedestal.
Projection is a big piece of this and so we begin with ourselves and deepen our understanding of how projection can affect us personally, but also how our own projections can have an influence on the world around us.
Within the context of our communities we will also spend some time working on how we project ourselves out, and work on how we communicate to the world our own unique flavour of medicine that we offer, so that we can talk about it with clarity and self-assurance.
This includes how are feel about the energy medicine of money, and how to run a business with integrity that reflects who we are heart and soul.
Lastly within our time spent with the moon we begin to look outward to see how we can begin giving back, how we can be activists and leaders in a way that is both affective and nourishing for ourselves and the earth. There is a way!
Return:
As we return from the journey we reflect on our work here, on how far we have come and what changes we have decided to instill into our practises, and we work deeply with initiation ours and others, and we hold space for each women present as she shares her story of initiation and return.
This storytelling piece here is inspired by the story of the Decent of Inanna as each women will literally re-write her life story, with her as the central character of the tale.
As we return from the journey we reflect on who exactly we are as leaders and women, and take any old parts of our stories that require shadow work to the underworld for transmutation.
Upon completion each woman will receive a red bone wrapped and corded that she may hang onto her staff.
