Sacred Cacao Elixir
On this past full moon I was called to pull out this cacao and to share it, and this is what came forward.
Bags of Ceremonial cacao that can be made into an elixir for up to 6 people each. The potion can be made sweetened to share with a lover, or a group of friends gathered intentionally, or made unsweetened for a more ceremonial/medicinal brew.
If made medicinally each person would consume 1-2 ounces each and then allow the cacao medicine to do it's work.
Health Benefits of Raw Cacao:
Raw cacao contains many important vitamins and minerals including:
Magnesium, calcium, sulfur, zinc, iron, copper, potassium, and manganese. It is also extremely high in antioxidants and contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B9 and E. It includes the essential heart-healthy fat oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat, as well as protein
What you can Expect:
I have added Cayenne which is said to help increase blood circulation throughout the body and thus help the cacao to course through our veins with more efficiency. Theobromine, one of cacao’s main active compounds stimulates blood flow to the brain and to the heart, thus the amount of oxygen going to our brain can increase when drinking cacao can up to 40%. Our blood vessels dilate, and the skin floods with oxygen becoming more sensitive. The feeling is expansive and wonderful.
Many people will feel the cacao in their body right away, feeling a bit of buzziness similar to a sugar high within half an hour. Often feelings of deep love, gratitude and an open heartedness wash over us as the effects of the cacao kick in. If the cacao is taken too fast however, a headache can form.
The full effects may last up to 3-4 hours, so it is best not to take too close to bedtime.
Each red burlap bag includes:
A pouch of ceremonial cacao enough for 6 people to have a ceremonial amount up to 40 grams each.
Organic Cacao butter to make the brew creamy.
A Pouch of hand ground ceremonial herbs and spices including: Coca powder, Cinnamon, Lavender, Rose Petals, Ashwaganda, Vanilla beans, Chaga, Astragalus, Cayenne.
A small pouch with a piece of Rose Quartz known for it's heart opening properties and a whole Cacao bean.
A five page handout with a brief history of coca, and instructions on how to brew your elixir.
